In the Spirit of Giving
As we approach the holidays, we have begun to see baskets of goodies showing up at our office from our partners. The office is filled with good cheer and the smell of the season. I love this time of year when all of us take a break from our busy schedules to remember and thank those we have worked with throughout the year.
I am always humbled by the generosity and thoughtfulness of our partners. In addition to making us feel appreciated, your gifts offer a great opportunity to foster office camaraderie by sharing and connecting with staff over food. Who wouldn't be happy chatting over gourmet hot chocolate and gingerbread?!
So too, in the spirit of the holiday season and on behalf of the organization, I would like to thank staff, our clients, the community and our business partners for making the year 2005, another successful and important milestone for Cook Inlet Housing. Together, we have accomplished great things.
As clients, you let us know that we are doing the right things. As business partners, you helped us to design and build housing that is right for our clients and our community. You have also helped us change the face of neighborhoods. As employees of Cook Inlet Housing, you have been on the front lines making this organization tick and helping in our success to make this a great place to work. As a community, you have been extremely generous as was made most apparent through our recent success in raising funds to match Wells Fargo's $100,000 challenge.
With the close of another great year for Cook Inlet Housing Authority, we want to thank all of you for your show of support and generosity in your giving. May your homes be filled with warmth and comfort this season.
